PBA regular season finishes- playoff brackets set.

Professional Basektball Association (Eboria) | regular Season

The 2019-20 regular season has finished, with all teams completing their 64 games. The eight seedings for the playoffs have now been set. This was a historic set, as for the first time this millennium, neither the Kings or Towers are in the post season!

The Tigers won their last five to take the no.1 spot, as the Lasers stuttered at the finish. They will be hoping to be getting back on form for the playoffs. Every series is best-of-five, with the top seed starting with two home games.

The Dynamo and Lakers are new entrants to the recent playoff picture, as the Aces and Magic were happy to get back in. There’s no stopping now, playoffs commence on Tuesday night- with the Landor Lasers entertaining the Mayona Magic in game 1. Wednesday sees The Dynamo and Heat followed by the Aces vs Dragons. Thursday night sees no.1 seed Chakota host the Nashford Lakers. It’s then on to game 2 on Friday night for Lasers and Magic, etc.!

The Dragons and Tigers are both in the playoffs once again.

UFB- Playoffs bring usual suspect together

UFB | University Football Playoffs – 2019-20

The NUSA Bowl Executive Committee (BEC) have set the final places in the UFB Playoffs for the 2019-20 season. The final eight teams play-off in quarter-finals this weekend, before the semin-finals on Boxing day (26th Dec).

The six conference champions, along with the best two ranked teams qualify for the playoff for the National Championship, culminating in the NUSA Champions Bowl on the first Saturday night of 2020- Jan 4th.

The Committee had to take into account overall record, strength of schedule, away wins and wins against ranked teams to set the order. O’Connell won a poor CAP10, so they fell to no. 6. Amorgan surprised critics by winning the Great Eastern, with their dominating performance in the conference championship game putting them in the number 5 position and eliminating BSU from contention.

Following the committee’s final rankings (acting as the seedings) The quarter-finals are now set as:
#1 Granada vs #8 Oakland
#2 Madison vs #7 Eregonia
#3 Ohara vs #6 O’Connell
#4 Stamford vs #5 Amorgan

With the brackets now set, the semi-finals will be as follows:
#1 Granada / #8 Oakland vs #4 Stamford / #5 Amorgan
#2 Madison / #7 Eregonia vs #3 Ohara / #6 O’Connell
