CONCAFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL 2019

ADELPHIA ARSENAL 1 (Overgaard 90+2)
NOVA PORTO 0
Adelphia took home their second Champions League title in three years with a VERY late strike from Andutch striker Robin Overgaard.
Both teams had gone close over the 90 minutes, with good saves forced from Ferguson and Joao Silva. In the end, as extra-time was approaching the Nova defence switched off for half a second. A bad pass from Vinho let in Wilcox to feed a just-onside Overgaard, who buried the ball in the back of the net.
Heartbreak for the second year in a row for Nova, whose players and fans were in tears at the end.
Speculation now continues to grow on the future of Head Coach Frank Lebeau, who has two Champions Leagues now to go with three league titles and three Copa Eboria’s in his eight seasons. Surely, Europe beckons for him?
