Report: Eborian Super League to rebrand for 2020-21

Eborian Super League → Eborian Premiership

Following the culmination of the 2019-20 season, the ESL’s 32nd season in its current form, the league will rebrand as the Eborian Premiership. The league also announced its sponsorship deal with Ntel- Eboria’s National Telecom. As a result, Ntel’s sponsorship deal with New Jorg United will terminate early at the end of May.

Goals from Peter Aguba, Aron Mulder, Mario Kranic and Hugo Martens meant that NC United were very safely crowned champions of the Eborian Super League. Sasa Lucic bagged another three assists, to give him the assists crown with a total of 26.

Adelphia Arsenal clinch ESL with one round to go

Adelphia Arsenal wrapped up the title in the penultimate round, having an unbeatable four point lead at the top. Meanwhile, the race to the bottom, or escape out of it heated up. It will be all to play for next Saturday.

ADELPHIA ARSENAL  2-1  HALLAS HOTSPURS

In the late Saturday night Kickoff, Adelphia looked unusually nervous in front of the prime time cameras. Fernando Marquez provided a 9th minute lead, with a brilliant header, but Hallas always looked like scoring. Hallas indeed got their equaliser on 49 minutes, when Peter Harvey snuck in at the far post to pop the ball in. Adelphia took back the lead, 26 mins before the end, when a neat 1-2 between Wilcox and Thomas enable the former to set up Luis Velasquez for a low tidy finish. Adelphia had done enough this year! All wrapped up with one game to go, taking in the celebrations in front of their home fans. Continue reading
